WASHINGTON, DC – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today joined Members of Congress at the Department of Education to demand answers from Acting Secretary Denise Carter on threats from the current administration to illegally dismantle the agency. Earlier this week, Mannion and his colleagues sent a letter to the Department to request a meeting. Mannion and his colleagues were denied entry to the building.

A Washington, D.C. snowstorm canceled Mannion’s flight to the capitol, so he drove.
