The Congressional App Challenge is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the STEM talent across the nation, as well as in our Congressional District. Each participating Member of Congress will name a winner to represent their district.

Attending a service academy comes with the commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. Rep. Mannion may nominate candidates for appointment to all the service academies except for the Coast Guard Academy, which does not require a congressional appointment.
Applications for Fall 2025 are due by October 20, 2025. If you would like to be considered for a nomination to a service academy, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
