Cosponsored the bipartisan BASIC Act to extend and increase the advanced manufacturing tax credit, encouraging domestic semiconductor manufacturing and supporting investments like Micron. 

• A provision modeled after the BASIC Act included in another legislative package has been signed into law. 

Cosponsored the Infrastructure Project Acceleration Act, which would modernize permitting for major manufacturing projects while upholding strong environmental protections and public transparency. 

Voted in favor of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, a comprehensive and bipartisan housing package to incentivize housing construction, provide more affordable financing options, and streamline current approval requirements. 

• Became law in July 2026.  

Cosponsored the bipartisan REPAIR Infrastructure Act to fund infrastructure projects like I-81 that reconnect communities and promote economic development. 

Cosponsored the bipartisan National Infrastructure Bank Act to establish a self-sustaining and long-term source of financing for infrastructure projects. 

Introduced a bipartisan bill to rename a local post office after Officer Wallie Howard Jr., recognizing a community hero and respected member of the Syracuse Police Department who was tragically killed in the line of duty. 

FY26 Community Project Funding  

• Secured $850,000 for the Syracuse Housing Authority East Adams Neighborhood Transformation. 

• Secured $2 million for the redevelopment of the former St. Luke's Hospital Campus for housing. 

• Secured $850,000 for a baggage equipment upgrade at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. 

• Secured $1,039,000 for Syracuse University to build a new semiconductor thermal noise testbed. 

• Secured $1,031,000 for Onondaga Community College's applied technology programs to improve career training. 

FY27 Community Project Funding Requests 

• Requested $2,000,000 to address infrastructure needs for the City of Oneida.  

• Requested $1,700,000 for community programs and services in the City of Syracuse.  

• Requested $500,000 for Workforce Training Equipment Acquisition at Onondaga Community College. 

• Requested $250,000 for public infrastructure improvements in the Village of Baldwinsville.  

• Requested $694,800 to purchase equipment, technology, and personnel to support manufacturing workforce training at LeMoyne College.
