Cosponsored two proposed amendments to the U.S. Constitution that would overturn Citizens United – the"Democracy for All Amendment" and the "Citizens Over Corporations Amendment." 

Cosponsored the DISCLOSE Act to reduce the influence of "dark money" in our elections by requiring political organizations to disclose donors who spend over $10,000. 

Cosponsored the bipartisan Restoring Trust in Congress Act, which would prohibit Members of Congress from trading stocks and other financial options. 

Introduced the bipartisan Local Journalism Sustainability Act to support local newspapers and broadcasters and protect freedom of the press. 

Joined over 170 colleagues in letters to the Postmaster General urging USPS to rescind their proposed mail-in ballot restrictions and refuse any illegal orders from President Trump. 

Urged USPS to address persistent local mail delivery challenges and improve their efforts in communicating with their customers after hearing reports of constituents facing extensive and unprecedented mail delays,  

Joined colleagues of both parties on an amicus brief submitted to the Supreme Court asserting that new and proposed mail-in ballot restrictions unconstitutionally usurp Congress's (and states') authority over federal elections
