“Millions of working Americans depend on SNAP to feed their families and the emergency funds authorized by Congress should be deployed to backstop the program while the government is shutdown.
It should never take a court order to compel our government to prevent hunger.

I commend the diplomatic efforts of the United States and our allies to reach a ceasefire that can end two years of conflict in the Middle East.

I have consistently called for the immediate release of all hostages and an end to the civilian suffering in Gaza — and thankfully, that day appears close at hand.

I support a strong international response to rebuild Gaza and provide aid and security for the Palestinian people. This ceasefire represents a critical step toward saving lives and building the trust necessary for lasting peace.

Two years ago, in the deadliest assault on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, Hamas launched a brutal terror attack on innocent Israelis. My thoughts will always be with the victims, their families, and everyone still suffering from this war.

I continue to call for the immediate release of all hostages and support the ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring peace and stability to the region.
