Rep. Mannion hosts ticket lottery to attend presidential inauguration

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Representative John W. Mannion (D, NY-22) announced Tuesday a ticket lottery for constituents who wish to attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20.

Ticket requests can be made at Rep. Mannion's website at this link.

The tickets are primarily standing room, but a limited number of those tickets include seating. Mannion's office said, that due to high demand, there is a limit of two tickets per household. You'll need to a resident of the NY-22 Congressional District to be eligible.

“Assisting constituents will be a cornerstone of my work in Congress," said Mannion. "So, I am very pleased to provide tickets to the presidential inauguration for the people of NY-22."

The deadline to submit a ticket request is noon on Jan. 10. Winners will be notified by email on how they can pick up their tickets.

Mannion's office said anyone who enters the lottery must be the person who retrieves them. You'll need identification and proof that you live in the NY-22 Congressional District. Winners will be responsible for their own travel and accommodations to Washington.
