SYRACUSE, NY – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today sent the following letter to Acting Director Vaeth at the Office of Management and Budget regarding memo M-25-13 which orders all federal agencies to pause funding which could harm public safety, health care, rural communities, schools, child care, and other essential services in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today was appointed to serve on the House Education and Workforce Committee and the House Agriculture Committee. These assignments reflect Representative Mannion’s extensive teaching and organized labor experience and ensures strong support for the Micron project and NY-22’s thriving agricultural sector.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today announced $3.9 million in federal support to establish nearly sixty miles of bicycle infrastructure across Central New York. The funding will help enable the design and engineering of the Central New York Regional Planning & Development Board’s “CNY Peace Trail” that will cover scenic routes through five counties.
