WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative John W. Mannion today announced that Karin Reeves, a fifth-generation farmer from Baldwinsville, New York, will be his guest at President Trump’s joint address to Congress on March 4.  
Ms. Reeves' family operates Reeves Farms, which began in the late 1800’s. Reeves Farm grows vegetables and berries on 1000 acres of tillable land with a seasonal workforce of 80-90 people. They help supply fresh, local produce to most major grocery stores across Central New York. Ms.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today voted no on a highly partisan budget resolution that slashes billions of dollars for programs including healthcare for seniors and food assistance for children and families. 
Representative John W. Mannion said, “I voted no on a budget bill that would require devastating cuts to important federal programs – including health care for seniors and food for children and families – so Trump and his allies can cut taxes for billionaires.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today continued his strong support for students and New York dairy farmers by helping to advance the bipartisan Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act through the Education and Workforce Committee. Mannion’s legislation will give students access to more milk options produced locally by New York dairy farms at school.

WASHINGTON, DC – Representative John W. Mannion (NY-22) today joined Members of Congress at the Department of Education to demand answers from Acting Secretary Denise Carter on threats from the current administration to illegally dismantle the agency. Earlier this week, Mannion and his colleagues sent a letter to the Department to request a meeting. Mannion and his colleagues were denied entry to the building.


On Thursday mornings when the House is in session, NY-22 constituents who are visiting Washington, D.C. are invited to join Representative Mannion and staff for coffee and conversation about issues that matter most to them.
